About The Role EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are seeking a highly skilled Section Engineer with experience in structures to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing junior engineers and assisting the Sub Agent in construction operations. Key responsibilities will include supervising the site engineering team, managing the site setting-out team, and identifying and resolving technical problems on site. Additionally, the Section Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements. About You
  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE)
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
  • Experience in heavy structures is essential for this role
  • Holder of CSCS and SMSTS and/or SSSTS card
  • Full driving licence required
