Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager for our Ecommerce Solutions division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our digital solutions business and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate solution messaging at both a business and technical level.
  • Provide industry expertise and guidance to clients.
  • Communicate and develop opportunities and solutions to potential and existing clients.
  • Author and provide presentations to executive-level and working-level client audiences.
  • Present value-based solution demonstrations with the support of Pre-Sales Consultants and other resources.
  • Develop and present custom demonstrations based on prospective client requirements using BCP products.
  • Provide solution insight paralleling the solution to client needs.
  • Guide prospective clients to the merits and strengths of the BCP solution.
  • Remain current in industry and technology trends.
  • Document all prospective client meetings and decisions in BCP systems.
  • Manage produce and submit relevant proposals RFI and ITT responses with the support of appropriate BCP technical resources.
  • Organize communications activities with internal colleagues to support pre-sales customer activities.
  • Plan and prioritize personal activities and customer contact, managing personal time and productivity.
  • Record, analyze, report, and administer according to BCP's systems and requirements, using Microsoft Office tools where not otherwise specified.

Requirements

  • Have an infectious passion for digital and ecommerce solutions, and how they can help merchants develop their businesses.
  • Have practical experience in the development of ecommerce channels within a merchant or consultative role.
  • Have a track record of building a sales pipeline and meeting sales targets.
  • Experienced in selling to multiple levels within an organization.
  • Fluent and articulate communicator who can instill confidence and build a rapport with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Be a self-reliant, motivated, team player.
  • Educated to degree level or graduate calibre.
  • Full driving license required.
  • Microsoft Office abilities.
  • Experience in the B2B trading sector.
  • Must live within one hour's drive of Stockport.
