The Role: Training and Development Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Training and Development Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the apprenticeship scheme and developing comprehensive training and development plans for our technicians.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the apprenticeship program, ensuring its successful implementation and delivery.
- Develop and implement tailored training and development plans for technicians, aligning with industry best practices and Vestas's strategic objectives.
- Manage relationships with external and internal training providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality training programs.
- Forecast and book technical training courses, including safety-related certifications, to meet the evolving needs of our technicians.
- Proven experience in training and administration within a Learning & Development (L&D) environment.
- Relevant educational background, preferably in a field related to training or human resources.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience within the wind energy industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with external training providers and internal departments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Coaching and mentoring skills, fostering the professional development of technicians.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
