About the Role
We are seeking a skilled IT System Trainer to collaborate with our IT Training Lead and the Business to deliver high-quality systems training to our user base of over 3,600. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- To design, develop, and evaluate training courses and materials.
- Delivery of system, process, and soft skill training to support the implementation of projects.
- To provide support to stakeholders during the implementation stage of projects.
- To collaborate with IT and Operations in the implementation of bespoke applications, providing post-training floor walk support.
- To work as a collaborative, professional member of project teams, working closely with the Development and Test teams.
- To build excellent working relationships with business customers, and other members of the IT supply and demand teams.
- To demonstrate the ability to break down information technology problems and provide solutions.
The training role will be responsible for the rollout and support of generic and bespoke applications across various work divisions and Depots. From initial training needs analysis, training preparation, creation of documentation (paper and e-learning), support during and post-deployment before final handover to the business/support teams.

Requirements
- Delivering training on a one-to-one basis or in small groups using blended learning.
- Bespoke application/software training.
- Ability to use applications like Articulate, WalkMe, and video for interactive training support material.
- Training needs analysis.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Knowledge and experience of design, delivery, assessment, and verification of training.
- Knowledge and experience of hardware and software requirements.
- Ability to review and assimilate information quickly.
- Ability to deal with rapid change across projects.
- Self-motivation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with minimum supervision.
