We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Abergavenny area of South Wales.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity working 4 days a week with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota and no OOH. Our practice is well-equipped with fantastic facilities, including 3 consult rooms, a theatre, digital X-ray facilities, ultrasound, and capnography.

The role will include general veterinary nursing duties, such as monitoring anaesthetics, nursing sick animals, administering medicine, taking X-rays, running bloods, and nurse consultations. You will be part of a small but fantastic team of 2 vets, 3 veterinary nurses, and 2 receptionists with a very loyal client base.

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified Vet Nurse who is registered with the RCVS. You will be organised, enthusiastic, and keen to further develop your skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a salary of up to £30,000 per annum to reflect experience. You will also receive CPD allowance, Certificate support, VDS cover, and RCVS fees paid.
