Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management
- Oversee the day-to-day management of facilities services, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental health regulations, and national cleaning standards.
- Staff Management
- Supervise and assist facilities staff, including domestics, portering, catering assistants, facilities assistants, and switchboard staff.
- Lead and motivate staff to ensure high standards of performance and customer service.
- Operational Planning
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure efficient use of resources and effective delivery of facilities services.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including cleaning standards, maintenance schedules, and staff performance.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors to ensure a positive and welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure integrated and effective delivery of services.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Health and Safety Qualification
- Recognised Supervisory Qualification
- Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 Hospitality
- Experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
As a Senior Facilities Supervisor at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital facilities, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in facilities management.
