About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technically diverse projects and delivering innovative design solutions across a broad range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project delivery
  • Manage project finances and ensure compliance with all legislation and regulations
  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate design and manage specialist input/surveys
  • Undertake condition surveys and prepare technical reports
  • Provide technical assistance to the structural engineering team
  • Assist in the contract administration of projects
Requirements
  • Chartered status with the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
  • Experience working in a structural engineering consultancy environment
  • Experience in the use of structural engineering design software (ideally Tekla Structural Designer or SCIA Engineer)
  • Knowledge of both British Standards and Eurocodes and their implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
