About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining the network for internal engineering solutions, resolving network-related incidents, and providing third-line support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the network for internal engineering solutions, including customer remote access.
  • Resolve network-related incidents within contracted SLA timescales.
  • Provide third-line support for network-related issues.
  • Support the wider network engineering team in network solution delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven hands-on network and security experience, with a CCNA or higher certification.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and experience with monitoring, network, and security diagnostic tools.
  • Proven experience working to ITIL best practices.
  • A full, current driving license.
