Business Development Manager - UK Freight Forwarding

We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Professional to join our team at WR Logistics, a leading entity within the industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing our core services and strengthening existing relationships with customers and employees.

The role will involve fieldwork, including identifying and targeting potential new clients, as well as working closely with existing customers to expand our services. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement business development strategies to grow our core services
  2. Identify and target new business opportunities, including potential new clients and partnerships
  3. Work closely with existing customers to expand our services and strengthen relationships
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, and partners
  5. Conduct fieldwork, including site visits and meetings with customers and partners

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Freight Forwarding Sales or a related field
  • Strong business development skills, including strategy development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
