We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Coach to join our team at Babington. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and excellence of our training programs and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive coaching and mentorship to our trainers and skills coaches, assisting them in delivering effective and engaging programs.
- Evaluate the performance of our trainers and coaches through observations, assessments, and feedback sessions, identifying areas for improvement and producing development plans.
- Develop and implement performance improvement strategies that align with our goals and objectives, contributing to ongoing professional growth and enhancing our training methodologies.
- Support the development and induction of new Skills Coaches, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Create opportunities for sharing best practices, positive action groups, forums, and occupational competence to enhance the occupational experience we provide to our learners.
- Ensure all internal and external quality assurance requirements are maintained, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with delivery managers, training managers, and quality colleagues to establish quality benchmarks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Through observation and sample checking, embed standard operating procedures and best practices into Skills Coach activity.
- Identify and define best practices, highlighting them and embedding them into our wider operations.
- Conduct regular train-the-trainer/coach-the-coach sessions to ensure consistent delivery of content, effective facilitation, and coaching skills, and adherence to best practices.
- Create and maintain relevant materials, manuals, and resources to assist our trainers in their delivery.
Requirements
- Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Level 4 qualified in Project Management.
- Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent) teaching qualification or equivalent.
- Level 4 Certificate in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (desirable).
- Level 3 Coaching & Mentoring qualification (desirable).
- Conversant with Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, ensuring these standards are fully embedded with all delivery and program development.
- Proven experience as a trainer or coach, preferably within a training provider.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and drive performance improvement.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and techniques within a training environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems, e-learning software, and other training platforms.
