Apcoa Parking is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a critical role in enforcing local laws and regulations to protect the environment and public health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce environmental laws and regulations within the designated area.
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support enforcement actions.
- Issue warnings and fines to individuals and businesses that violate environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective enforcement.
- Provide education and outreach to the public on environmental issues and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of enforcement activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in environmental science, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in law enforcement, environmental enforcement, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.
- 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to include weekends and bank holidays.
