Head of Primary Care Finance Business Partnering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of POD/Primary Care Finance Business Partnering to join our team at Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West ICB. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing professional financial management services to ensure that financial information is produced and reported in accordance with our requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial management services to support the ICB's planning and performance management purposes.
- Ensure that budgets are set in accordance with our requirements and that all decisions on changes to service provision within the ICB are made with full knowledge of both the long and short-term financial consequences.
- Lead the ICB Delegated Primary Care & POD team, providing overall professional leadership and management to all aspects of Primary Medical Care and the delegated POD allocations.
- Manage and coordinate the team's resources to produce accurate, complete, and timely periodic internal and external financial reports and monitoring returns.
- Present financial information and provide effective and pertinent analysis to support the senior finance team in identifying and managing risk and delivering financial performance objectives.
- CCAB qualified accountant with considerable post-qualification experience at a senior level.
- Significant post-qualification experience in a financial management role at a senior management level.
- Extensive knowledge of the NHS financial regime, acquired through equivalent experience or training.
- Experience of national tariffs, assessing value for money opportunities, and evaluating transformation projects.
- Subject matter expertise across several key areas relating to corporate performance reporting and monitoring.
