About the Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse seeking to advance your career in cardiology? We are searching for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Cardiac Implantable Devices Clinical Specialist. This unique role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with various specialists including cardiologists, cardiac physiologists, and other clinical nurse specialists.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced clinical care for patients with implantable cardiac devices, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders. This includes pre- and post-procedure support, patient counseling, and ongoing management of their condition.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of the implantation admission pathway, including nurse-led pre-admission counseling and remote patient care strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the cardiac physiology team, consultant cardiologists, and other specialists to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Lead and facilitate training initiatives for colleagues within the specialty area.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiac implantable devices and related technologies through continuous professional development.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background in cardiology. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Significant post-registration experience, demonstrating a passion for cardiac implantable devices and advanced cardiology practice.
  • A proven track record of professional development and ongoing competence within the specialty.
