Recovery Nurse/IVF Staff Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Nurse/IVF Staff Nurse to join our team at Lister Fertility Clinic @ The Portland Hospital.

The successful candidate will support the Sisters and Senior Staff Nurses to ensure the smooth running of the LFC @ The Portland Hospital. You will assist couples undergoing fertility treatments and be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient treatment cycles. Maintain effective communication channels between patients, staff, and satellite services while upholding the highest standard of clinical practice and patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work in recovery and theatre looking after patients pre and post egg collection, embryo transfers, and all other procedures related to the IVF service requiring admission to theatre and recovery.
  • Assist within the clinic if there are no procedures taking place, maintaining the highest standard of clinical practice and patient care.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered
  • Experience in IVF setting desirable
  • Recovery/theatre experience
  • Interest in women's health
  • Evidence of professional update
  • An understanding of the HFEA code of practice
