About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Support Worker. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering women who have experienced domestic abuse by providing them with the support and resources they need to rebuild their lives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group support to women affected by domestic abuse.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans tailored to each woman's needs.
  • Connect women with relevant services, such as housing, legal aid, and counseling.
  • Advocate for women's rights and safety within the community.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience in a similar field.
  • A strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care.
