About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team in Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with children and young people who require therapeutic interventions for complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a complex caseload of young people requiring therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide training and clinical supervision/support to the wider team.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings and risk management groups.
  • Support with transition work and audits as appropriate.
  • Link with parents, carers, and other partners.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Proven post-registration clinical experience relevant to the post.
  • Professional qualification and current registration as a First Level Registered Nurse (RNMH, RMN, RNLD) or equivalent as an AHP, Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist.
  • Evidence of post-registration training in clinical/psychological interventions/skills relevant to the post.
  • Up-to-date knowledge/experience of relevant legislation.
