We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Carry a complex caseload of young people requiring therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote positive outcomes.
- Provide training and clinical supervision/support to the wider team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Attend multi-agency meetings and risk management groups, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination with partner agencies.
- Support with transition work and audits as appropriate, maintaining a focus on quality and excellence in service delivery.
- Link with parents, carers, and other partners to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes for young people.
- Proven post-registration clinical experience relevant to the post, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality mental health services.
- Professional qualification and current registration as a First Level Registered Nurse (RNMH, RMN, RNLD) or equivalent as an AHP, Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist.
- Evidence of post-registration training in clinical/psychological interventions/skills relevant to the post, with up-to-date knowledge/experience of relevant legislation.
- Experience working with children's mental health, preferably in a community setting, with a strong understanding of effective treatment options and risk assessment/risk management.
As a valued member of our team, you will have access to a comprehensive internal training program, robust supervision structure, and opportunities for professional growth and development. Our team operates across Monday to Friday, with Saturdays 9-5, offering a flexible and dynamic work environment.
