Our Sustainable Land & Resource Management Practice is a well-established, award-winning, multi-disciplinary team with a diverse portfolio of regeneration and development projects.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate/Associate Director to join our team in the North East and Scotland, supporting our Leeds, Stockton, Newcastle, and Edinburgh offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in contaminated land investigation, reclamation, and remediation.

  • Project management and technical leadership of contaminated land-focused projects, including financial management, programme delivery, and technical review.
  • Lead on work-winning, client development, proposal preparation, and bid input for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, subcontractors, and internal disciplines.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, including health and safety plan preparation and review.
  • Developing own competence and maintaining CPD necessary to fulfill the role's responsibilities, with support from the business on training and development needs.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of project management of contaminated land/brownfield projects, including managing project teams and delivering to high standards.
  • Experience of winning work, including commercial awareness and understanding, and completing successful tenders.
  • A relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Flexible and prepared to take on new challenges.
  • Full UK driving license and the ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK and work on short-term assignments.
