We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Burnview Healthcare. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our care homes.
Main Responsibilities:
- To carry out all aspects of cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home.
- To mop, sweep, and clean floors as necessary to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- To clean and maintain bathroom and toilet areas, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
- To replenish toilet rolls, soap, and paper towels, and report any stock level issues to the management team.
- To participate in staff and resident meetings as required.
- To attend mandatory training days and courses to develop your skills and knowledge.
- To report any accidents or incidents to the management team, and to promote safe working practices within the home.
- To maintain the security and confidentiality of the home, and to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in cleaning and a desire to maintain a neat and tidy environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
