About the Role

Burnview Healthcare is a family-run care home group that specializes in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with dementia, nursing, and residential needs. Our team is dedicated to creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

We are seeking a part-time Domestic Assistant to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our home. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cleaning and has a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Carry out all aspects of cleaning, including mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
  2. Clean and tidy bathroom and toilet areas, including replenishing toilet rolls and soap.
  3. Polish furniture and fittings as required.
  4. Clean and polish windows, window ledges, and doors regularly.
  5. Report any faulty appliances, damaged furniture, or potential hazards to the Nurse Manager or Maintenance person.
  6. Participate in staff and resident meetings as required.
  7. Attend mandatory training days/courses as needed.
Requirements
  • Genuine interest in cleaning and a desire to maintain a neat and tidy environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Team player.
