About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work both in-person and online with students. You will be responsible for developing customized learning plans, fostering independence in learning, and supporting students to develop strategies for organization, time management, and research skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with specific learning difficulties
  • Develop and implement customized learning plans to meet individual student needs
  • Support students to develop independence in learning, including organization, time management, and research skills
  • Collaborate with students to set and achieve academic goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust learning plans as needed
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold membership with one of the following professional bodies:

  • British Dyslexia Association (BDA)
  • Professional Membership The Association of Dyslexia (ADSHE)
  • Dyslexia Guild
  • The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS)
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working with clients with specific learning difficulties
