Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CCTV Project Engineer to join our team at Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company. As a CCTV Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CCTV systems for our clients in the Oil & Gas and Defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation
    • Design CCTV systems based on project requirements using standard and innovative solutions
    • Produce engineering drawings and documentation for client approval
  • Technical Support and Maintenance
    • Provide detailed documentation for manufacturing
    • Support production staff during the build and test phases
    • Implement IP-based systems, including cameras, servers, storage devices, network equipment, and fiber optic units
    • Host and attend Factory Acceptance Testing to ensure systems meet client specifications
    • Support clients during installation and commissioning phases
    • Provide ongoing support throughout the system's lifecycle
  • Sales Support
    • Assist Sales with system designs
    • Technical review of system bids before client submission
    • Create technical documentation to support bids
Requirements
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and possibly Visio
  • Technical engineering qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant industry experience
  • In-depth understanding of electrical and electronic systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizing abilities
  • Effective prioritizing and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in information gathering and monitoring
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adhere to established processes
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working with CCTV systems in the Oil & Gas and Defence sectors
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
