About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CCTV Project Engineer to join our team at Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality CCTV systems to our clients in the Oil & Gas and Defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with sales teams to develop system designs that meet client requirements
    • Provide technical expertise to review and refine system bids before client submission
    • Develop technical documentation to support bids and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • System Design:
    • Design and develop CCTV systems using standard and innovative solutions to meet project requirements
    • Produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation for client approval
  • Manufacturing Support:
    • Provide detailed documentation for manufacturing and ensure seamless production processes
    • Support production staff during the build and test phases to ensure high-quality systems
  • System Build and Configuration Management:
    • Implement IP-based systems, including cameras, servers, storage devices, network equipment, and fiber optic units
  • Acceptance Testing:
    • Host and attend Factory Acceptance Testing to ensure systems meet client specifications
  • Post-Delivery Support:
    • Provide ongoing support to clients during installation and commissioning phases
    • Offer technical assistance throughout the system's lifecycle to ensure optimal performance

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective planning and organizing abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and possibly Visio
  • Technical engineering qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant industry experience
