As a Relief Support Specialist, you will engage with a diverse group of individuals, each with their own distinct needs and abilities. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities and providing essential emotional support, ensuring that each person feels valued and understood.
The individuals we support enjoy a variety of activities, including outings to horse riding, social gatherings at pubs and cafes, day trips, and vacations both within the UK and abroad. They also participate in social events such as parties and religious celebrations.
Key Qualifications:
- A genuine commitment to supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster meaningful connections.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and understanding demeanor towards those with learning disabilities.
This position requires a valid driver's license.
Shift Information:
Our services operate 24 hours a day, and we prepare schedules at least four weeks in advance, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Working Hours:
Shifts are scheduled between 07:00 and 22:00.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for sleep-in shifts, which offer an enhanced flat rate payment.
