Head Chef Opportunity at The Nightingale

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at The Nightingale, a vibrant and welcoming pub in the heart of Bicester. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and high-quality dishes
  • Develop and implement menu ideas to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Manage food costs, labour, and inventory to achieve budget targets
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a premium environment
  • Passion for fresh, high-quality food and exceptional customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train the kitchen team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
