Senior Care Assistant

As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working alongside the Deputy General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the care home. You will also support the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
About YouWe are looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to providing individualised care and support to our residents. You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We offer ongoing training and development opportunities to help you progress in your career, and many of our Senior Care Assistants have gone on to become Care Practitioners, Regional Carers, or nursing professionals.
