We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant, focusing on supporting children who have had negative experiences in mainstream education, coupled with SEN and other challenges.
Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing learning materials and organising classroom activities.
- Provide hands-on support and supervision.
- Foster individual development and engagement with the world.
- Adapt to various classroom roles, indoors and outdoors, based on individual requirements.
- Lead activities, facilitate outdoor experiences, and ensure safety during exploratory outings.
- Assist the classroom teacher in running exciting lessons & maintaining a clean and safe classroom.
- SEN Teaching Assistant with the main goal to provide support and guidance, and to enhance the quality of life for children and their families.
- Strong teamwork skills, coupled with the ability to share ideas and collaborate effectively.
- Passion for working with neurodiverse pupils, particularly those with SEMH.
