We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have learning difficulties, behavioral problems, or physical or sensory disabilities. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Deliver RWI phonics sessions to support pupil learning
  • Work with SEN children to assess their individual learning needs
  • Positively manage challenging behavior in the classroom
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication
  • Supervise activities and provide support to teachers
  • Work with teachers to develop bespoke and individualized education plans for pupils
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils in small groups
