Pride in London Seeks Human Rights Forum Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our third annual Human Rights Forum, furthering our commitment to amplifying the global fight for LGBTQ+ rights and supporting LGBTQ+ people worldwide.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our important platform for human rights advocacy and awareness. As Human Rights Forum Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining partnerships with multiple teams and stakeholders, including elected officials, policy makers, and the international LGBTQ+ community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Human Rights Forum, aligning with Pride in London's mission and values.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including activists, experts, and civil society organizations.
  • Collaborate with our team to create innovative and creative approaches to advocacy, ensuring maximum impact and reach.
  • Provide a friendly and welcoming induction course and training for volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to support the event.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience of working across various human rights issues.
  • A passion for LGBTQ+ human rights issues and how to address them.
  • Ability to create and maintain partnerships with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead innovative and creative approaches to advocacy.
