Job Title: Waiter - Central London

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Waiter to join our team at The Langham, London. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests in the Palm Court lounge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and engaging manner
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of food and beverage menus to guests
  • Provide prompt, friendly and efficient service
  • Personalise and engage with guests at every opportunity
  • Maximise sales opportunities, upsell where appropriate
  • Create an emotional engagement with guests, thus creating exceptional memories
  • Be responsible for ensuring bills are dealt with accurately
  • Maximise service delivery opportunities

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of food & beverage, in particular afternoon tea
  • Previous experience in a similar 5* environment
  • Flair, passion and a conscientious attitude
  • Confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
  • Ability to think outside of the box to surprise and delight our guests
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear conversational English language, knowledge of foreign languages is beneficial
