About the Role

Wipro, a leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Contract Assurance and Governance to join our team in the UK on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with the account executive team and be responsible for ensuring awareness and compliance with the contract and contract management processes. This is a strong client-facing role that requires collaboration with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 360-degree contract design and management, including implementing an obligations management plan and ensuring overall contract governance.
  • Participate in top-level executive meetings as a trusted advisor to business teams and lead compliance with contractual obligations to protect Wipro's interests and support business strategy decisions.
  • Drive change requests, negotiate commercial disputes, avoid penalties, and prevent profit leakage through scope creep.
  • Collaborate with the account delivery head to initiate, discuss, and agree on change requests with customers.
Requirements
  • Considerable relevant experience in IT contract management, including managing multiple, large portfolios of customers and business accounts in a global environment.
  • Good understanding of IT service delivery, including various delivery models structured around geo, industry, and competency units.
  • Strong discipline around processes and governance.
  • Proven negotiation and program management capabilities.
  • Fluent in common languages like English, French, German, and able to communicate with customers in the local language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, reporting, and document skills, with high attention to detail, quality, and effectiveness.
