Financial Analyst

Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking Group, is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their Group Finance Department in a key role.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and reporting packs, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Financial Support: Provide day-to-day finance support to the business, including being a point of contact for financial queries.
- Process Improvement: Embrace and implement process improvements for the finances of this entity.
- HMRC Returns and External Audit: Support the Group Financial Controller and other members of the Finance team with HMRC returns, external audit, banking and treasury management, board reports, and other financial tasks.
- Credit Control and Payroll: Assist with credit control, including reviewing aged debt and cash flow reporting, and support payroll with processing, controls, and transacting payments.
- Purchase Ledger and Accounts Payable: Process purchase ledger invoices and payments as support for the accounts payable team.
The ideal candidate will be either AAT qualified or part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA and committed to becoming professionally qualified, with experience in a similar finance position.
