Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team in Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and leadership to junior staff, liaising with matron and service manager, and monitoring and maintaining the quality and standard of care provided to patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and professional supervision to all band 6 nurses in the team.
  • Work alongside our existing Operational Team Leader, with specific clinical leadership responsibilities and support decision-making around complex cases as a key member of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the needs of patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions between services.

Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Nursing.
  • Experience of having worked in a supervisory position before.
  • Ability to demonstrate willingness to ensure that KMPT's values are realised in the way that the service operates.
  • Post graduate leadership and/or management training is desirable.
