About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Project Manager to join our team at Sweco UK. As a key member of our Innovation Team, you will be responsible for project managing industry-leading exploration, trial, and testing projects in response to business challenges in areas such as carbon neutrality, sustainability, digital transformation, novel design, and construction techniques, and the development of novel treatment technologies.

You will work closely with our @One Alliance and Anglian Water Strategic Delivery and Commercial Assurance (SD&CA) Innovation Teams to define project structure, produce project management documentation, and drive project mobilisation and delivery with stakeholders and action owners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining project structure and producing project management documentation
  • Acting as a conduit for knowledge and information exchange between the @One Alliance and Anglian Water's innovation teams
  • Driving project mobilisation and delivery with stakeholders and action owners
  • Continuously reviewing project business cases to ensure delivery of benefits or the requirement to redefine and refocus projects
  • Ensuring escalation to Innovation Manager Lead and wider team of any project risks and issues that cannot be controlled within the project

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of benefit realisation, change and risk management experience, and strong stakeholder management skills. You will be able to develop business cases that are financially considered throughout and demonstrate a passion for implementing new ways of working.

You will be comfortable with change and iterative development, including handover of projects mid-delivery where necessary. You will be able to think commercially and solve problems, and be passionate about our environment and how the work we do impacts on our communities.
