Role Summary:

We are on the lookout for a proactive Operations Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our operational success as we expand.

In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the organization, reporting to our esteemed Senior Operations Manager, ensuring that our processes are efficient and effective, supporting our growth trajectory.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and project management skills, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic and sometimes unpredictable environment. Experience in operations, a solid understanding of the food or consumer goods sector, and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage the daily functions of the organization, including inventory oversight, logistics, and distribution.
  • Formulate and execute operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational objectives are achieved.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Generate purchase orders and liaise with suppliers/freight partners to guarantee timely delivery of premium raw materials.
  • Streamline supply chain processes to minimize costs and enhance reliability.
  • Update and disseminate inventory reports across the organization.
  • Coordinate deliveries to our storage facilities.
  • Physically assist in the movement of stock between locations and events.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all products adhere to the company's quality benchmarks and comply with industry standards.
  • Establish and supervise quality assurance processes throughout the production cycle.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and inspections to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify potential areas for process enhancements and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Implement strategies to streamline operations.
  • Lead and manage projects aimed at operational improvements.

Customer Relations:

  • Oversee direct-to-consumer and trade customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Analyze customer feedback to guide operational decisions and enhancements.
  • Assist in the packing and shipping of orders to customers and retailers.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and legal obligations.
  • Implement safety measures to guarantee a secure working environment for all staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations management, ideally within the food or FMCG sector.
  • Strong grasp of supply chain management and logistics.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in operations management software and tools.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
