Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Outback Steakhouse. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of customer service and food quality are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Staffing and Scheduling: Assist with determining staffing levels and assigning staff to each shift to ensure optimal service and efficiency.
  2. Employee Management: Manage all employees to maintain high employment quality standards, including hiring, development, counseling, promotion, discipline, and termination as appropriate.
  3. Recruitment and Hiring: Share the responsibility of recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff members to join our team.
  4. Operational Compliance: Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances, and that all health inspections meet required state standards.
  5. Team Leadership: Actively participate as a member of the management team and set excellent customer service and work examples.
  6. Community Engagement: Engage in community and market-related opportunities at the restaurant.
Requirements
  1. Experience: One (1) year previous restaurant management experience.
  2. Schedule Flexibility: Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule.
Preferred Requirements
  1. Full Service Restaurant Experience: One (1) year previous experience in full service (including bar) restaurant management.
  2. Certification: Certification in food safety.
  3. Relocation: Willingness to relocate within the assigned region.
  4. Computer Skills: Computer skills.
