About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team at Arla Foods Settle Creamery. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in the set-up and operation of our Lactofree milk production line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a healthy, inclusive, and safe work environment, and role model our character mindset.
  • Support Continuous Improvement through the use of Lean Tools.
  • Follow departmental KPI's, minimizing, managing, and reporting losses.
  • Operate machines and processing equipment using operating interfaces.
  • Identify and address the root cause of problems.
  • Run the department's processes and resolve process failures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Actively participate in the development and optimization of the washing processes.
  • Ensure awareness of and compliance with quality and food safety requirements within your area of responsibility.
  • Apply procedures and instructions regarding food safety (HACCP).
  • Determine pass/fail criteria for products and handle nonconforming products.
  • Manage product recipes, article numbers, and additives, including understanding their functions.

Requirements

  • Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • A natural ability to solve problems.
  • A strong sense of professional integrity and a passion for producing high-quality work with a strong safety mindset.
  • The ability to work and make decisions independently.
  • Excellent IT skills.
