Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Settle Creamery in Yorkshire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, identifying and implementing process improvements, and collaborating with production teams to ensure optimal plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal plant performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

  • Time-served or apprentice-trained engineer or proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Qualified to ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation within a fast-paced production or process environment
  • Computer literate, with experience in SAP, Microsoft Office, and SCADA systems
