We are seeking a skilled Community Staff Nurse to join our team at Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fixed-term position covering 12 months' maternity leave, working full-time hours in our Frailty SDEC service, which operates 24/7/365.
About the RoleAs a Community Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our Frailty SDEC service. You will work under the supervision of the ward manager and be part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients, prioritizing their needs and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating of patient care programs.
- Adhere to Trust policies and procedures, upholding the NMC Code of Conduct.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of standards of care, participating in audits and research as required.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- NMC registration.
- Experience in the relevant speciality, with a strong understanding of current clinical and professional issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
