We are seeking a skilled Communications Officer to join our team at Leeds Federated Housing Association Ltd. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our communications strategy to engage with our customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and develop our social media presence, creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
- Update and manage our website, ensuring it is a valuable resource for our customers and stakeholders.
- Design and produce our bimonthly electronic customer newsletter, showcasing our latest news and initiatives.
- Develop marketing materials, both in-house and in collaboration with external designers and creatives.
- Produce compelling stories and creative content that showcases our brand identity and tone of voice.
- At least 2 years' experience in communications, with a proven track record of creating engaging content and managing social media channels.
- Experience in drafting articles, stories, and press releases, as well as dealing with press enquiries.
- Practical knowledge of creating content for social media channels, particularly for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Able to use basic design software such as Microsoft Publisher or Canva.
- Qualification in a communications, PR, or marketing-related subject.
- A dynamic and agile working environment.
