About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a fantastic shopping environment and providing an excellent customer experience in store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the shop manager in running a customer-focused shop that is the 'window of the British Red Cross' on the high street.
  • Help create a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent customer experience in store.
  • Operate the till and create striking displays.
  • Be responsible for sorting stock and preparing items for display, behind the scenes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working in a retail environment and confidence with handling money.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • A commercial savvy mindset, with a grasp of hitting targets.
  • The ability to appreciate and anticipate each customer's needs and delight them with the service provided.
