We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems in a commercial building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Work with the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Work with the facilities team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical and Plumbing
  • NVQ in Mechanical and Plumbing
  • Trade certificates (Essential)
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Understanding of L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills

Working Hours:

  • Shift 4 on 4 off, days and nights
  • £24p/h
  • Chelmsford
  • Temp to Perm contract
