Look no further The Wilf Ward Family Trust offers an excellent opportunity for you to become part of our team at one of our registered services. As a Support Worker, you will deliver personalized assistance to three individuals with complex health requirements and learning disabilities in their home environment.
Every day brings new experiences, as the individuals we support require comprehensive assistance in all facets of their daily lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care.
- Preparing meals.
- Monitoring, documenting, and administering medications.
- Assisting with mobility.
- Accompanying individuals to various activities such as cinema outings, shopping, dining, arts and crafts, and swimming.
To excel in this role, you should be an effective communicator, ready to utilize diverse communication tools and adapt to the communication styles of those you support. Flexibility is crucial, as the position involves working every other weekend with varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
If you are kind, compassionate, and empathetic, with a willingness to learn and make a positive impact, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Driving ability is preferred due to the location.
