About the Role:

Principal People Recruitment is excited to present a unique opportunity within the Environment & Sustainability division of a rapidly growing, award-winning contractor. This organization has seen remarkable growth, doubling its workforce annually over the past four years.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and take ownership of group policies and strategies as the technical discipline lead.
  • Oversee environmental and ecological initiatives across all operations throughout the UK.
  • Act as the technical lead for the Environment and Ecology discipline, shaping group strategy and policy.

This principal contractor is on an upward trajectory, expanding its services into the utilities, energy, highways, and nuclear sectors. The role offers a strategic position at the group level, ensuring comprehensive responsibility for environmental and ecological delivery.


Position Details:

  • Title: Environmental & Sustainability Manager
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days per week in a regional office
  • Compensation: £60,000 - £70,000 + up to £7,300 Car Allowance + 13% Bonus + Pension


Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess experience as an ISO auditor and have a background in environmental management within sectors such as construction, infrastructure, and sustainability. Familiarity with ecology management and related disciplines is essential.
