Job Summary

As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for supporting the Farm Manager in all aspects of farm management, with a focus on maximizing performance and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and Assist a small team of staff in daily activities and routines, ensuring efficient and effective farm operations.
  2. Monitor and Maintain accurate records of bird health, food, and supplies, ensuring a consistent and high-quality supply chain.
  3. Implement Environmental Initiatives to reduce waste, promote recycling, and minimize environmental impact.
  4. Manage Ventilation, Heating, and Lighting systems to ensure optimal bird health and well-being.
  5. Identify and Report any maintenance issues, health problems, or other concerns to the relevant manager.
  6. Ensure Hygiene Procedures are followed to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  7. Perform Other Reasonable Duties as required by the Farm Manager.
Requirements
  1. Proven People Skills with the ability to work effectively with a small team.
  2. Sound Decision-Making skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
  3. Farm Management Experience with a focus on maximizing performance and quality standards.
  4. Valid Driving License with the ability to drive company vehicles.
  5. Previous Supervisory Experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
  6. Ability to Work Independently with minimal supervision.
