Parkinson Lee Executive Search is currently recruiting an Interim Supply Chain and Operations Expert to support our client, a dynamic start-up business.

About the Role

The Interim Supply Chain and Operations Expert role is a critical appointment, tasked with leading the implementation of key strategic initiatives that will deliver the operational requirements for a successful launch in both supply chain and production.

  • Spearhead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to ensure the successful launch of supply chain and production operations.
  • Establish operational key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet production capacity and supply chain optimization.
  • Identify potential risks related to the launch process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in rolling out strategies within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in start-up operations from project management through to delivery of an accredited and fully operational manufacturing site.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up production facilities and supply chain processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety and food safety standards and certifications.

Our client is looking for someone who is readily available and willing to commit to the assignment for a period of 6 months, dedicating a minimum of 3 days per week. In return, they will pay a competitive day rate outside of IR35.
