Job Title: Operations Planning Team Lead

Join Onyx-Conseil as an Operations Planning Team Lead and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and planning skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of production planners to support the production operations teams with monitoring, reporting, and driving corrective recovery actions when off plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of production planners to monitor and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Evaluate and control change embodiment to minimize overall business impact, providing recommendations to the extended team based on operational impact, programme impact, risk, and resultant cost.
  • Develop 'what if' programmes to support senior strategic decisions, mitigating internal capacity constraints and offloading proposals.
  • Deliver customer programmes in line with contract and planning requirements, ensuring timely and efficient production.
  • Determine production capacity needs, taking into account labour, utilization, budgets, man-to-machine ratios, and other constraints.
  • Manage manufacturing-related non-recurring activities, such as bespoke scheduling, pre-production readiness, and mobilization activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong production planning background with knowledge of toolsets, such as MS Project, ERP, S&OP, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across multi-functional teams and broad stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Desire and willingness to learn and develop through functional framework.
