About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Technician to join our team at UK Atomic Energy Authority Careers. As a key member of our Electrical department, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement electrical systems and infrastructure to support our fusion research and development activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on high-voltage systems and electrical infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including CAD design and simulation software.
