Role Summary:

As a Software Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our product lifecycle, overseeing projects from initial concept to final implementation. You will establish testing objectives, formulate comprehensive testing strategies, and create automated testing plans that integrate seamlessly with our continuous integration and delivery processes. Your knowledge will be essential in ensuring our software is effectively deployed and performs excellently in practical scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Deployment Leadership: Direct our innovative software from development to deployment, ensuring a smooth transition into service and addressing any operational challenges with stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary resource for technical support, resolving customer inquiries, diagnosing issues, and providing creative solutions.
  • Training & Development: Facilitate and engage in both internal and client-focused training sessions and workshops, sharing your knowledge and skills.
  • Project Oversight: Lead small to medium-scale projects as the Technical Lead, guiding them to successful completion.
  • Requirements Analysis: Convert intricate product specifications into clear User Stories, ensuring accuracy and understanding.
  • Engineering Leadership: Conduct Engineering Trade Studies and Design Reviews, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Automated Testing Development: Create and implement automated testing protocols that set industry benchmarks.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop project timelines and manage budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Ongoing Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to the Product Team, driving enhancements and innovations.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, along with 2-3 years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related discipline within the technology sector. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

Essential Skills:

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Office Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Automation Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing automated solutions using Python.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of Design Partitioning, Digital Communication, and Software Architecture.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Cloud Computing Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms is advantageous.
