Job Summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Site Manager to join our team at East Anglia ONE wind farm. As a key member of our service operations team, you will be responsible for the delivery of service and maintenance activities, as well as the leadership of the technician workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all personnel at site and manage the distribution of tasks in the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards according to Siemens Gamesa and local requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are available to achieve site performance targets within budget.
  • Maintain service and retrofit KPI's and ensure all tasks are being completed within relevant timescales.
  • Maintain and develop good working relationships with customer organizations and escalate issues to the Site Manager when appropriate.
  • Line management and performance management of shift staff in line with Siemens Gamesa processes.
  • Ensure that the necessary infrastructure at site is available and processes are optimized.
  • Liaise with the customer to obtain work permissions and approval of Risk Assessment Method Statements.
  • Support the hiring process of technicians and take care of progress in developing technician skills.
  • Coach and develop the shift team in line with Siemens Gamesa processes.
  • Assist in the production and publication of accurate site reports for both internal and external customers.
  • Control and technical verification of SAP data and release hours booking on service orders.

Requirements

  • Experience within operational delivery at a site level, ideally in an offshore environment.
  • A track record of supporting delivery and assisting operational leaders with developing and delivering their operational plans and commitments as part of a team that delivers a highly positive customer experience.
  • Demonstrated line management experience and be used to working within a fast-paced environment.
  • This role will require the successful candidate to be permanently present in the Lowestoft Office.
